Fausto Puglisi SS14

Its fashion week time and i like to use this as an excuse to dip into archives saved on my computer. This collection by Fausto Puglisi showcases an ever lasting print. You just can not go wrong with a palm tree print, it's guaranteed that every summer season you can get it out of your wardrobe and feel just as great as the first time you put it on . . . well any excuse to buy into this collection really!

In the studio || Digi print, teacups & Saucers

I've not posted pics of my own studio on here for a while, I've been using this space as a place to document inspiration and wardrobe wants! But here are a few snaps of how things are looking behind the scenes at Rianna Phillips HQ. I am loving this new teacup and saucer by Bombay Duck.
In the pics you can see the Duli, Serenity, Lena & Nissa mini pouches.
There are also a few little fabric swatches for the SS16 collection which I'm gathering inspiration for at the pinterest board here.

Catwalk || Manish Arora SS15

Sometimes I think the backstage images capture the energy of a collection more than the catwalk images. Manish Arora SS15 is a sight for sore eyes

Current Muse || Charlotte Free

I'm currently working on SS16 and it's safe to say the colour pallet is quite girly, amongst the odd hint of jet black. This editorial of Charlotte free for Chanel seems to be dominating my sketchbook pages.
THE HAIR! enough said.

SS15 || Muuse Lookbook

After the Muuse newsletter dropped into my inbox I was immediately inspired and excited for SS15 colours and prints. Although it's absolutely freezing outside and I wasn't adventurous enough to wear a skirt to London Fashion Week last week (for fear of frost bite), it's still extremely inspiring and motivational to know spring/summer clothes are just around the corner.
I think introducing these designers as 'upcoming' doesn't quite do their refined design skills credit, but there may be a few names showcased below that you've never come across before.

Featured in the collective lookbook in collaboration with Muuse is: Louise Korner, Elias Hogberg, Damien Ravn, Huang Ting Yun and Lina Michal.

Joáo Melo Costa

As that time of the year approaches when all fashion loving eyes are on our capital city, I turn my attention to the innovative designers who deserve center stage during London Fashion Week. I've attended the Fashion Scout event at the Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden a few times now and love the eclectic mix of designers they showcase. I'm most looking forwards to seeing what Joáo Melo Costa displays this season because JUST LOOK what he has previously achieved:

urghhhhhh so good! I'd wear that very last outfit complete with embellished scarf in a heart beat.
